Too Late to Secure Hole In One Insurance?

Friday, January 4, 2013

There are two questions in particular that US Hole In One’s tournament consultants are often asked, “Is it too late to get coverage?” or “How far in advance do I need to book this?” The process for hole in one insurance for a golf tournament is unlike most other types of insurance. When it comes to hole in one insurance you can receive a quote and get coverage all in one day! There is no long waiting period for the insurance to go into effect, once US Hole In One receives your completed application we will issue insurance that very same day. At US Hole In One we want to make it as easy as possible for you. We can literally bind coverage at any point before the tournament, as long as the tournament has not started, we can get you covered!

Obviously it is better to give yourself some time to make sure you can take advantage of all the hole in one package has to offer like free bonus prizes and signs, however we have many clients call last minute and need coverage for a tournament that same day. In order to get coverage whether it is an hour before the tournament or a month before is to fill out an application. This can be done with the hard copy of the application that your tournament consultant emails you or an online application that can be filled out right on our website. If you are able to get the application back into us at least 10 days before your tournament then you will be able to take advantage of free shipping on all of your hole in one signs. If you are running a little late we can still get the signs to you in time for your event for a small shipping fee. For those emergency situations where someone forgot to get insurance or your sponsor backs out last minute, it is best the fill out the online application, you will have coverage in minutes!

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact an US Hole In One tournament consultant at 888-882-5440 or info@usholeinone.com.

Grand Prize Hole In One Insurance Options

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Here at US Hole In One we often hear the questions, ‘what should I give away as my hole in one insurance prize?” This question is usually answered by one of our tournament consultants as ‘whatever you like!’ Since we are providing insurance for your hole in one grand prize, as long as you can put a value to your grand prize, we can insure it. Obviously the most common prize that we cover is cash, which of course can be done at almost any value. Many people stick to the round numbers such as $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000 however we also get a lot of requests for number that go along with the theme of the event such as $13,000 for the 13th annual tournament.

Other clients don’t want to give away cash and want something more tangible for their golfers. The second most common hole in one insurance prize is a car. The idea of getting a brand new car is exciting and will get people to sign up for the tournament. We will cover the car based on the value that you provide us with however in order to get a car out on the course that day you just need to talk to your local dealer.

US Hole In One also offers a variety of other options on our website such as vacation packages to elaborate golf courses all over the world. We also cover packages to premier sporting and entertainment events such as the Masters or the Grammy’s. Keep in mind we can always cover hole in one insurance prizes that aren’t listed on our website such as vacations, gift cards or shopping sprees to the destination or store of your choice. Be sure to look at our page for some more prize recommendations.

How To Get Hole In One Insurance

Wednesday, August 29, 2012

Hole in one insurance is an extremely simple process once you get started. The first thing you need to do in order to get the ball rolling is contact US Hole In One for a insurance quote. In order to get a quote you must be hosting or be involved with a golf tournament, US Hole In One can not provide hole in one insurance for any golf event that is not associated with a golf tournament.

There are two ways to get a quote through US Hole In One. The best way to get a quote if you are a first timer is to call one of our tournament consultants. They will ask you three main questions to determine the price of hole in one insurance, the number of golfers in the event, the distance of the par 3 hole you want the grand prize on, and the amount you want to insure the grand prize for. It is also good to know the date of the tournament, the name of the event, and the golf course that you will be playing. The quote will then be emailed to you along with a hole in one insurance application that will have to be filled out and faxed back over.

US Hole In One has also introduced an online quote option where clients can simple go onto our website and type in the same information and the price for coverage will appear right on the computer screen. New this year, US Hole In One will give you the option to purchase the coverage online by continuing through the quote and filling out the online application. That application will be automatically send to our processing department and processed that same day.

Whether you want to personally talk to a consultant or get the application processed online, US Hole In One will make sure you get the coverage you need for your event by keeping the process simple and quick!

Charity Golf Outings

Monday, July 16, 2012

On June 18th, Edward Wilk did what millions of golfers try for every day. During the 2nd Annual DJE Charity Golf Outing, the 7 handicap, stepped up to the tee box on hole number 14, at Overpeck Country Club. Playing at 192 yards that day, Wilk struck his ball, in a few seconds, he was about to change some lives. Thanks to the Presbyterian Church of Teaneck, that hole was with a Hole In One Insurance policy. Not only did Wilk win $5,000, but the church itself received $5,000. As part of one of our packages, the final prize is split between the winner and a charity of your choice, in this case, Wilk and Presbyterian Church of Teaneck. Congratulations to Edward Wilk on your hole in one.

Running a charity golf event is one of the most popular events we cover here. Earlier in the year, I published an article about helping to run charity golf outings. This is a fantastic way to help raise funds for either a charity or cause. You can secure hole in one coverage that splits a hole in one to the winner and charity, but more importantly, the article explains how to help raise funds without leaning on a player to sink a hole in one. If you are interested in other prizes please please take a look at the some of our sample packages, but keep in mind that if you have an idea of a prize you would like to offer give us a call 888-882-5440 and talk to one of our qualified tournament specialists. We would love to help

Making Changes to Your Hole In One Insurance Policy:

Friday, July 6, 2012

One of the biggest concerns for our customers here at US Hole In One is making a change to their policy once the hole in one insurance is in place. There are two major concerns that many of our clients have: the number one being that most people do not know the exact number of golfers, and probably won’t, up until the day of their tournament. The second worry is what to do if there is inclement weather.

When it comes to changing the number of golfers in your tournament, you can do so up until the morning of your event. The change must be submitted in writing, before the tournament starts. This does not need to be a formal, written letter; simply an email or a fax will is all we need. You can send an email to our change department: changes@usholeinone.com or send a fax to 610-525-8004. When submitting the change you just need to include the event number, which can be found on the certificate of participation, and the change that you need to have made to your hole in one insurance policy. Many of our customers often want to know if this change can be submitted by someone other than the person named on the certificate and the answer is yes. As long as the person who is submitting the change has the policy number we will be able to access the policy with no problem.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your hole in one insurance policy due to inclement weather, it is just as easy as making a change to the number of golfers. We will need to receive written notification no later than the first business day following the date indicated on the Hole In One Insurance Application. The change can either be emailed (changes@usholeinone.com) or faxed (610-525-8004). If you are rescheduling the tournament and you do not have the new date that is not a problem. Once you have the new date you will just need to email or fax it to the same address/number as above. In the event that you are canceling the policy we will receive a refund less the $40 cancellation fee (per policy).

Add-On Putting Contest Insurance:

Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Looking to add something extra to your hole in one insurance package? US Hole In One offers add-on putting contest insurance, at discounted rates, when you purchase them along with your hole in one insurance package.

Adding a putting contest to your tournament is a great way to raise money as well. By selling tickets during registration and throughout the tournament you can raise money for your organization. At the end of the tournament select one lucky golfer’s name from the tickets sold during the day and give that person a chance to putt for a big cash prize.

US Hole In One offers three options for the add-on putting contest. All putts must be sixty feet and they are for one contestant, you just need let us know if you would like to purchase the putt for $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000. All putts must be videotaped. The video needs to show the measurement of the putt and the lucky golfer taking their one shot. Keep in mind that the flag must be pulled during the putt. You will also need to have one person who is eighteen years of age or older, who did no play in the tournament, to act as a witness.

When you purchase the insurance for the add-on putting contest you will also get a sign to display with a sponsor’s name or the name of the tournament. This sign is free as well as the customization. Some sponsors may want to have their logo on the sign, as well as text and/or the tournament name, we can definitely do that. You will want to indicate on the application that you would like to use a logo. Once you fax over the application form you will email the logo to US Hole In One’s art department.
