5 Things Every Golfer Should Do At Least Once

Every golfer has a bucket list or a list of dreams like winning a major or hitting a hole in one. You may think that your list is unattainable, but in reality, they may be easier to achieve than you may think. We have listed a few things we think every golfer should and can do to help better their game and just to make playing golf all the more fun.

Read the Rules of Golf

Now more than ever, golfers are slipping up and getting penalized for breaching some of the new (and old) rules of golf. Common penalties include playing out of turn, carrying more clubs in bag than allowed or having your ball out of bounds. Don’t let being uninformed hinder your ability to win. You can read a digital version of the rules by visiting USGA.org. You can also get the rules on your phone with the free USGA Rules of Golf app for iOS and Android.

Play Golf with a Simulator

Golf simulation is a newer golf concept that a lot of golfers are hesitant to explore. Golf simulators have sensors to capture your swing, impact and spin. You instantly get an analysis of your skills which is great for practice. Golf simulators are also great when weather outdoors isn’t ideal as well. If you have a large space in your home like a garage or basement, you can play right in the comfort of your own home.

Make a Hole In One

Why not try making a hole in one and buying everyone drinks. Even if you don’t make an ace, how about buying drinks anyway? As we all know, making a hole in one is a big deal. It is estimated that the chances of making a hole in one is 12,500 to 1 for an amateur golfer. Sometimes it happens by luck, by accident  or it happens two times in the same round. We believe with some motivation like big cash prizes, it can help motivate your golfers to make their winning swing. Compete in a Tournament

Whether it’s a pro tournament or amateur, why not compete? Competing in a tournament is a fun way to put your skills to use. If you are an amateur and not too confident in your skills, you can still use it as a way to practice. After all it’s a tournament, so what better way to practice than with the option of winning award money and prizes?

Play at a Famous Golf Course

You don’t have to be in a tournament to play at some of the most famous golf courses around the world. Take a golf vacation to Pebble Beach. St. Andrews, or the Masters! And with US Hole In One, you don’t have to pay to get away! We offer prize packages that include golf vacations for two. Make a hole in one, and be on the next flight to golf paradise!
