Hole In One Recipe

Unfortunately, there isn’t a specific recipe to follow to make a hole in one. If that was the case, there would be a lot more hole in one winners. However, maybe adding a pinch of luck, a dash of skill and an amazing golf tournament, might just be all you need. We have listed a few tips for you to take during your next hole in one contest. See below.

#1: Confidence
Come to the tee with confidence. You need to relish the opportunity that you have to put the ball on the green in one shot and get it close to the hole. The attitude you need to bring to have any chance to get the ball in the hole is aggressive

#2: The Right Club
You’d think that the shorter the par-3, the greater the chance of getting a hole-in-one, meaning that more would be made with wedges than anything else. The stats suggest otherwise and, in fact, the 7-iron and 8-iron make more aces than any other club, each registering 14% of all aces. 40% of all aces are made with a 7-iron, 8-iron or 9-iron.

#3: The Perfect Swing
Take a full swing. Bring your club back to shoulder height and come through the ball with speed and velocity. Snap your right hand through the ball and finish up high.

#4: Practice
Go to the driving range regularly where you can work with your medium and long irons. Many golfers are a bit afraid when using these clubs because they are less forgiving. But with the correct fundamentals, you are sure to take home a win.
