It’s an exciting time for golf aficionados. The Safeway Open begins this week and is the first golf event of the 2016-2017 PGA Tour season. The event goes from October 12 to 16 and has an exciting lineup of players that will be competing.

Tiger Woods was originally slated to participate in the Safeway Open but announced earlier this week that he would not be playing because he felt his game was not up to par. Fans were sad to see him go, but nevertheless, the event features a number of talented golfers. We can’t wait to see them perform their magic. Collin Morikawa, Aaron Wise, and John Rahm have all received sponsor invitations to play. Patrick Rodgers, Paul Casey, and Charles Howell III will also be participating, among others. NBA MVP Steph Curry will even be participating at the Pro-Am event!

High-profile golf events are a great way to cultivate and strengthen fan enthusiasm, while promoting brand awareness for the PGA Tour. While you may not be able to host a PGA Tour event at your next tournament or outing, you can still take extra steps to excite your golfers. Sponsor a hole in one, putting, or shootout contest and offer amazing grand prizes to elevate their event experience. Our promotions are unique, exciting, and the perfect way to make your business stand out.

We’re excited to see how the Safeway Open plays out, and we’re even more excited to see the results of your next golf promotion! Increase your guests’ experience at your upcoming sporting event and get people talking about your brand.
