faqsUS Hole In One tries to make the process of getting hole in one insurance simple and easy. Customers get a quote either online or over the phone from one of US Hole In One’s tournament consultants. Many customers have questions regarding the terms and conditions of the coverage or just about the extras that are included with their hole in one insurance. Here are a few answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding US Hole In One’s hole in one insurance.

What are bonus prizes?

  • Bonus prizes are smaller prizes for the other par 3’s on the course. The yardage on those holes must be at least 130 for the men and the women can shoot up to 15 yards less than men.

What are the prizes for the bonus prize holes?

  • Standard Bonus Prizes (FREE)
    • 39” Sharp Flat-Screen TV
    • Set of Callaway Irons (3-PW)
    • Two Roundtrip Domestic Airline Tickets
  • Premium Bonus Prizes (+$45)

    • Apple Package (iPad, iPod Nano, and $100 Apple Gift Card)
    • Callaway Woods (1,3 & 5) and Irons (3-PW)
    • $750 Visa Gift Card.

What is the minimum yardage for a hole in one grand prize?

  • Distance Requirements:
    • Prize Value from $2,000 – $49,999 – 150+ yards
    • Prize Value from $50,000 – $99,999 – 160+ yards
    • Prize Value from $100,000 – $1,000,000 – 165+ yards

What is the ladies yardage requirements in relation to the men’s yardage?

  • Ladies can play up to 15 yards closer than the men on all of the par 3 prize holes.

What are my witness requirements for my hole in one insurance?

  • Prizes less than $2,000 – 2 playing partners
  • Prizes from $2,000 – $59,999 – 1 non-participant witness and 2 playing partners
  • Prizes from $60,000 – $150,000 – 2 non-participants and 2 playing partners
  • Prizes from $150,001 – $1,000,000 – 2 non-participants (1 being a PGA pro or police officer) and 2 playing partners plus it must be videotaped
    • Non-participant witnesses must be 18+ years old
    • If 2 non-participants required, one must be at the tee and the other adjacent to the green
    • Videotape is also required if there are 24 or less golfers AND if the prize that is $25,000 or greater

What if we have to cancel or postpone our tournament?

  • In the event of inclement weather you can either postpone or cancel the policy.  Either way, notification is needed, in writing by either fax  (610-525-8004 or email (changes@usholeinone.com) that day.  If the policy is postponed you can let us know the new date later on if you do not have it that day now and there is no additional fee.  If you choose to cancel the policy you will be refunded the total certificate fee less a $40 cancellation fee.

What if I wont know my final golfer count until the morning of my tournament, what do I do?

  • US Hole In One suggests you get your hole in one coverage for the max amount of golfers you are expecting. You then can change the number of golfers up until the morning of the tournament.  The change must be submitted before the tournament starts and must be in writing by either fax (610-525-8004) or email (changes@usholeinone.com). You will then be charged or refunded accordingly.
