Direct Mail Promotions

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

With the golf season winding down, US Hole in One’s sister company, Interactive Promotions Group offers a wide variety of promotional prize insurance options that you can offer to your clients and potential clients at your store. Direct mail promotions are a great way to draw new and current customers into your store. And guess what? Setting up a direct mail promotion is easy to do with Interactive Promotions Group!!

In order to get a quote for a direct mail promotion you will just need a few pieces of information in order to get the quote.  The pricing is simply based on the value of the prize or prizes that will be advertised on the mail piece, the length of the promotional sale and the type of mailing list that you are using.  Interactive Promotions Group handles just the insurance for the prize(s) that are being offered on the mail piece so it is up to you to organize the mailer that will be printed, the mailing list and the mail house that you will use to number and drop your piece to your potential customers.

You will need to mail out at least five thousand pieces; it is the required minimum to purchase a policy with Interactive Promotions Group.  As far as the mailing list goes, you have three options on the type of list that can be used: a saturation (non-customer) list, a customer list, or a mixed list (combination of saturation and customer).  The least expensive option is the saturation list since that is just based on a certain mile radius of your dealership’s location.  The customer list will be more expensive since you are targeting a specific group of past clients and the odds of return are greater.  You will also need to know the drop date that the mail house will be sending out your mail piece.  Once you have all of this information you can give Interactive Promotions Group a call and get the pricing figured out and then get a contract written up.  What is better than your business getting the benefit from the increased traffic and not having to pay out should the customer actually walk away with the big prize? This is an easy, affordable and customer appreciated way of drawing business into your store.

Interactive Promotions Group is here to help you with your next promotion no matter how big or small it might be! Go check out Interactive Promotions Group and then give us a call at 888-882-5140 or email us at! We are more than happy to answer any question you have about your upcoming event and get you a quote!

Application Status and Certificate of Participation

Thursday, October 15, 2015

Here at US Hole In One there are questions we get from our customers after they receive a price quote and application for their upcoming golf tournament.  After a client completes our 1 page application and then submits it to US Hole in One, the next question is always “how do I know if I’m covered?”  We have a very quick turnaround time of processing applications and sending out signage.  A customers proof of hole in one insurance with our company is found in the certificate of participation.

Once a customer submits their application to US Hole in One, it is received by the processing department where they will review it to make sure the application is filled out correctly.  After all the information is correctly in our system, a representative from the processing department will process the application and will email the certificate of participation by the end of that business day!
So what exactly is a certificate of participation? A certificate of participation is a document that is two pages long that show the customers hole in one coverage. The first page is basically a “snapshot” of the customer’s specific hole in one insurance policy that they have secured through US Hole In One. It includes the contact information, event number and also the information in regards to the grand prize policy.  The event number that will be listed on the certificate of participation is specific to each hole in one insurance policy. The easiest way for the tournament consultant to recall the policy if the customer has any questions regarding it or has to make changes to their hole in one coverage is by this event number. The second page is very important because it lists the terms and conditions, making it a must read. Also, information about the bonus prize holes that are offered with the grand prize policy is included on this second page.

The certificate of participation is the document that can answer any questions regarding someone’s specific hole in one coverage. On the day of the tournament, it is highly suggested to have a copy of the certificate of participation on hand at the golf course for reference. But, as always, if you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your tournament consultant at US Hole In One by email at or by calling us at 888-882-5440. We are more than happy to answer all and any questions!

Bought Hole in One Insurance? Add on Contests Options

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

Planning your fall golf tournament and want to add more buzz to your event?  When you purchase a hole in one policy, US Hole in One gives you the option to take advantage of our add on contests!  At a discounted rate, we offer add on putting and dice roll contests for selected golfer(s).  These two promotions are a great way to raise extra money for your event while also making it fun for the golfers in the tournament. When you purchase the insurance for the add-on putting or dice contest you also get a free sign with the sponsor’s name or logo or the name of the tournament.  Make sure to indicate on the application if you would like to use a logo.

Although these add on contests are not for all of your golfers in the tournament, by selling tickets during registration and throughout the tournament you can raise money for your organization or charity and come up with a selected finalist(s) for the contest. Putting and dice roll contests give your golfers the chance to enter for their chance to be picked to be the lucky finalist(s) to take their chance at winning! When the time comes for the contest, you select one lucky golfer’s name from the tickets sold throughout the day and give that person a chance to putt for a big cash prize or select four lucky contestants and give them each one chance at rolling the 4 dice to win! Lets take a quick look at your options for these add on contests!

The add on putting contest must be a 60 foot putt and you have the option of offering a $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 cash prize.  There must be an unedited videotape that shows the measurement of the putt distance, ball placement and the ball being struck and ending up in the hole (cup). Keep in mind that the flag must be pulled during the putt. There also must be one person, 18 years of age or older, who did not play in the tournament, to act as a witness. If you choose to do elimination putts to narrow down the field of golfers to the one finalist, make sure to follow the terms and conditions!

As for the dice roll, you also have the option to sell raffle tickets to support your organization or eliminate the golfers as long as you follow the terms and conditions. Give four golfers at your tournament the chance to win $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 by rolling C-A-$-H!  A dice roll helps to create an exciting atmosphere right up until the end of your tournament! You can easily incorporate the dice roll into your lunch or dinner after everyone is done on the course. Two witnesses must be present for the dice roll contest. Just like the putting contest, for the dice roll the participant(s) must be randomly selected, only get one attempt with no practice shots or rolls, respectively, and the contests must be videotaped.

To find out more information about any of our contest or promotions please email or you can give us a call at 888-882-5440.  We are more than happy to help you out.
